More From Google: 5 Google Search Hacks You Never Knew Existed. 1. Set a timer using Google search
The apps we use everyday demand more and more data, which might be quite expensive. In order to combat this, Google has started testing a new app called Triangle.
The app will allows you view how much data you have left, show you how many apps are using that data, and you can even restrict data usage on a per-app basis.
The app can also prompt you to temporarily enable data for an app for a specific period of time. Let's say you blocked Google Earth from consuming any mobile data, when you open the app, a pop-up will ask you if you’d like to enable data for 10 minutes, an hour, or indefinitely.
