If you're looking to get a device that's similar to the Samsung Galaxy S8 without spending much, UMiDIGI has finally made that wish possible.

.

The UMIDIGI S2 and S2 Pro Smartphones sport different processors and different RAM capacities , but when it comes to design, everything else is identical.

The UMIDIGI S2 comes with 4GB of RAM and runs on a 64-bit Octa-Core Helio P20 Chipset clocked at 2.3GHz while the ‘Pro’ model has 6GB of RAM and runs on a 64-Bit Octa-Core Helio P25 processor with speeds of 2.6GHz. The new Flagships are made out of metal and glass, and they have really thin bezels all around.

Screen And Display

The UMIDIGI S2 and S2 Pro sport a 6-inch HD+ In-Cell display ( manufactured by Sharp) and this display offers an 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4 and a 2.5D curved glass.

Battery And Charging

For graphics, you get a Mali-T880 MP2 GPU (for both smartphones), running at 900MHz. Both smartphones come with a 5,100mAh non-removable battery (supports fast charging, Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0), there's also a Type-C USB port.

Camera

Both phones sport a dual camera setup on the back, a 13-megapixel (Sony’s IMX258 sensor) and 5-megapixel combination.

There's also a 5MP selfie shooter. The UMIDIGI S2 and S2 Pro Supports Dual SIM smartphones (2 x nano SIM), and it's a hybrid sim card slot which means you can either use two SIM cards or one SIM card with one SD card . Both phones come with 64GB of internal storage.

My Verdict
When it comes to Chinese companies cloning devices, I'm not really surprised because it's not a new thing. However the good part of it is that you actually get a device that's a bit similar to your dream phone but I'll be honest , there's nothing like having the one that actually had the original design. However the Umidigi is a good device and if you'd like to get the phone, I definitely approve of it.
